In 1983, Laura started working in public relations in L.A. and met Dr. Alan Pressman guest lecturing on the topic of Health and Nutrition for the Performer at Professional Artists Group. That was the beginning of their twenty-eight year partnership. She got a job as an account executive at a NYC's New Talk 1050, WEVD where she quickly formed partnerships with NAC Marketing and Purity Products and began work as a radio infomercial marketer. Dr. Pressman hosts radio infomercials on over 1,000 radio stations nationwide to this day. Laura Banks also currently produces Healthline Radio with Dr. Alan Pressman on WMCA 570AM, AM970 The Answer, and WLIB Radio New York 6-7pm Easter Monday Through Friday.

Laura has written for Talkers Magazine, the trade publication to the radio industry and was interviewed by the Electronic Retailer Magazine and is a past member of the Electronic Retailing Association, Screen Actor's Guild and Actor's Equity.
