Laura Banks is an internationally known author, actor and comic. She is a USA Today Bestselling author with her second book, Breaking the Rules, Last Ditch Tactics to Land the Man of Your Dreams, selling over 250,000 copies. and has written four books total with an emphasis on humor and women’s empowerment. Her new memoir, The Wrath of Blonde, celebrates the 40th Anniversary of the release of Star Trek II, the Wrath of Khan in 2022, where Laura portrayed the navigator of the USS Reliant with Khan at Paramount Pictures. She survived starring in three other action pictures for Roger Corman and went on to host her own show on SYFY entitled, Inside Space where she interviewed Carl Sagen. Laura has made a multitude of TV and Radio appearances and is now a viral sensation on You Tube’s Excuse Me, What? series, with 450,000 viewers to date. She has two new shows she is hosting at Off Beat Media,(funded by Mark Cuban) entitled Hot Shots and This or That. She has her own channel on Snap Chat at TikTok, produced by Off Beat Media. Most recently (2022) Laura was featured on CNN Brasil. The world of comedy was always her oyster, having performed as a stand up at The Improvisation in NYC and The Comedy Cellar. Whoopi Goldberg was her comedy partner in Spontaneous Combustion Improv Troupe in San Diego. She also did improv at Caroline’s in NYC and with the Groundlings East at the Westbank Cafe on 42nd Street. Her one woman show made it to off-Broadway entitled: “Amazon She Warrior”. She worked with Dick Clark at United Stations Radio America doing comedy writing and voices for ten years, and had podcast, Your Hidden Power, syndicated on Radio America. She helps others embrace their addictions and still shoot for the moon with her astrological system using the actual heavenly planets in the universe!

Laura started out as an improv player in Spontaneous Combustion comedy troupe with Whoopi Goldberg at the Comedy Stores in LA and San Diego. She then got her first break in Star Trek II, The Wrath of Khan (Paramount) and was then discovered by world-famous indie producer Roger Corman, to star in a series of B-films. Then back to the stage as a standup at The Original Improvisation (NYC) for three years, and then host of Inside Space (SYFY Channel) with lots more TV appearances with two books with Janette Barber on ABC World News, MSNBC and Fox News. Laura also hosted the podcast Love Online (Toginet) with Susan Winter from the Huffington Post and Star Gal Radio on traditional radio (CRN Digital Talk). For a decade she produced and voiced comedy segments with Dick Clark’s United Stations Radio Networks and was the voice of the NBA.
